Once upon a time there was a great free webhost called Geocities. It was a lot of fun, but it all started to go sour when they got rid of the Community Leaders and the cute urls. Eventually, when Geocities was overrun with spammers, dodgy webfolks and abandoned sites, Yahoo decided to pull the plug. I found it a few years before Yahoo bought Geocities. Even though I could say that I began as Geocities was ending, I still have fond feelings and nostalgia for it. And so I decided to build this website, to celebrate all that was good about Geocities and to remember my own early attempts at having my own website. It's a companion site to my very first domain, Serennau.
